Gypsy

Gypsy is a 8 year old bay thoroughbred mare registered with the Jockey Club. All the core shots are done (VEE, flu shots, Potomac Fever, tetanus, West Nile). Working on flying changes; she likes to be balanced. Gypsy at 16.2 h does shoulder in/out, leg yields, excellent ground manners and already has good form over jumps. She carries good weight with excellent conformation, trailers good, clips, stands for farrier, and accepts inoculations very good. This versatile horse has the potential to take a rider in any direction they would like to go. Would make a wonderful addition to any hunter/jumper barn. She likes to work and please her rider.

Cobalt

Cobalt is a 16.1h black American Saddlebred/Shire cross. This horse will take a rider to the top – He consistently scores winning rounds for every rider who has had the experience of being on his back, always getting ribbons or champion. He smokes the competition with any fences 3′ and below. Good for entry level jumper riders. He can turn on a dime, is totally safe, has huge gaits, and gives with his whole heart. Cobalt is ridden in an eggbutt snaffle which easily controls him, though his riders must be strong. Cobalt does automatic lead changes, shoulder in/out, and leg yields, and he has excellent ground manners and good form over jumps. He will occasionally hang his knees, but he always clears the fence. He carries good weight (easy keeper) with excellent conformation, good trailers, clips, stands for farrier, and accepts inoculations very well. Rider must have very quiet legs and good upper body control. Never needs shoes. All the core shots are done along with VEE, flu shots, and Potomac Fever.

Gracie

Gracie is a grade bay quarterhorse mare. She is very well put together and does extremely well in the flat classes. She places in rated shows. Gracie moves off the leg very good and has good simple lead changes. Working on flying leads; just not consistent at this time. She handles 2.6 fences and is not intimidated by anything higher. I don’t have a rider to take her higher at this time. She is not for a beginner rider. She has good ground manners and is UTD on all baseline shots plus Potomac Fever and West Nile. Gracie normally does not wear any iron and has good solid feet; however, when shown, she wears front shoes.

Mendigo

Mendigo loves people and a very willing partner. Riders need to be experienced but would be an excellent safe ride for an introduction to the jumper ring. He is 16.3; carrying approximately 1300 lbs.; occasionally has front iron when ground conditions warrant. Mendigo consistently places high in jumper classes in the lower levels; has the heart for 3.6″ and has competed at this level but needs practice and conditioning for it. There is a  calcium blemish on inside left front fetlock that does not cause any problems. He is on 24/7 turnout and an easy keeper with hay during our cold winters but tends to loose weight during the extreme humid summer heat; then grain is added. He loves peppermints.
